Ingredients:
48 oz. ground turkey
3 tbsp. olive oil
1 large scallion, finely chopped
3 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup fresh oregano, finely chopped
10 oz. feta cheese, crumbled
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
6 whole wheat hamburger buns
To Make:
Preheat a gas grill to 400 degrees.
Begin by combining all ingredients in a large bowl, mixing thoroughly with your hands until solid and liquid ingredients are evenly distributed. Next, grab handfuls of the ground turkey mixture and make patties that are about 6 inches wide and 8 ounces in weight. You should be able to make about six burgers total. Place them on a serving plate and transfer to the grill when it is ready. Cook patties, covered, for about four minutes a side, and remove them from the grill when they are medium-well. Place the patties on buns, top with your favorite condiments, and enjoy.
Serve burgers with a traditional Greek Salad.
